I miss you
I miss how you would wipe both corners of your mouth after each bite,
how you would wash every single piece of fruit until it seemed just right,
every time you picked up a clean piece of laundry you fold it into the perfect square,
I make us all sit it out until we figured what seems fair, how you would work through the garden even pull your weeds with a smile, I remember you telling me that we could both just talk it out and walk a mile, how you would hold my hands with care in your eyes and say everything will be just fine, everytime we would sit out in a restaurant just to dine, every single needle prick that my finger will seem to gain I will think of the time we were doing needle stitch together and there will be no pain, how you would sit in the kitchen and clean the floors and to you could see your face in the tile, I truly am sorry that you never got to witness me walk down the aisle, but no one can tell me that you are not with me, just because you're not beside me does not mean that you can't see
