Favorite Quote:
My life has been the poem I would have writ, but I could not both live and utter it. -Henry David Thoreau

The hand

It sits for the longest time

And waits

For the flow

Then it moves

The breeze carries the pen

To a new place

Always touching the ground

Fitting between the blue lines of life

The ocean waves flow under the fingers

Weaving in and out

Fitting perfectly and imperfectly

The hand

It sits once more, satisfied

And it waits

For the ocean’s breeze

I was having extreme writer's block, and I just started writing about it.  And somehow, that turned into something surprisingly beautiful.

Great writing! Loved the way you wrote about how inspiration for writing comes and goes and really put it into beautiful words. Keep up with the poetry! I think you have a real knack for it.
