No Focus To Face This
We are pixels on a screen
  Undefined
  Blurry
  Hard to see
  Impossible to touch
  On the outside looking in
  We are trapeze artists
Balancing on a silver thread thinner that trust
Woven from the web of deceit we cocoon ourselves in
  They watch, and
  Wait for us to fall
  Except there’s no net
Only the arms of the few people who still believe.
  We are in too deep
And the surface is nowhere in sight
But I feel you swimming beside me
And suddenly I don’t care if I drown.
