Did you even care
When I smiled and was there?
When you laughed
Were you just laughing at me?
Was I ever really your friend?
When you were with me
Was your smile just an act?
Just another way to fool me!?
When I called you and you answered
Did it really matter?
Did you ever really hear me?
Was your affection all an act?
The perfect lie to ensnare me
The perfect bait to your perfect little trap
And you got me!
You trapped me
You held on to me like I was worth something to you!
But it was all jut an act...
