Love's Fool
You fooled me with your eyes.
Eyes deep and alluring
Mysterious and consuming.
Eyes compelling me to love you,
Compelling me to desire you.
You fooled me with your smile.
A smile enchanting
illuminating
A smile begging me to love you;
daring me
to go gallivanting through your rebellious world
You fooled me with your laugh
Laughter so warm and inviting
It was toxic.
Laughter luring me to enter
the complexities of your
Mind
Body
And soul.
You fooled me with your touch.
A touch so invigorating and compromising.
A touch with a mind of it's own.
Traveling throughout my body;
I almost ache for more.
You fooled me with your promises.
Promises so awakening and exciting
I could barely breathe.
Promises fulfilling
my entire existence.
You fooled me
Yet I am the fool.
