Different but the same.
Most people say animals are emotionless,
But this is just a load of nonsense.
Yes we are different but were also the same,
All playing the same living game.
Beating heart, working brain too,
How is this not clear to you?
Working organs and a caring eye,
While we demand them all to die.
Why should they stay by our sides?
When you can’t even look them in the eye,
And say some simple words…
A simple word like: I love you.
Yes I admit animals do look different,
But so do we,
We’re not all identical twins.
Of course we look nothing alike,
But when did this stop a life,
We all want to survive this game,
Yes different, but the same…
