I waited.
I waited. I waited.
I wanted to let you know I care.
Or more,
I selfishly wanted to hear you,
see you,
hold you.
But you didn’t seem to care.
Your eyes drifted and you seemed
like paper,
not the thing I’d created-
but blank the way it’d been before.
I brushed my fingertips along your
shoulder,
smiled to try and catch your eye.
Sent you messages
with kind remarks.
But I got nothing in return.
You make me think, that now-
you don’t care about our love,
my love;
anymore.
I don’t know what you feel,
but it sure doesn’t feel like
you’re feeling for me anymore.
