the moon has a face.
and it watches
the Earth.
shining gastly images upon
the furious waves
that are
trapped in its push and pull.
the moon has a face.
and it gazes at
the Earth.
casting silver a glow upon
the impertinent mountian peeks
that are
immune to its power.
the moon has a face
and it glares at
the Earth.
showering lunar commands upon
those creatures that inhabit,
to rise from slumber
or succumb
