Ghost
She only ever kissed with her eyes wide open,
She always tasted like cigarettes and burnt black coffee
And no, she never brushed her hair
And she was always in a rush
Sitting in traffic chewing on her brittle nails
But the way she looked at me right before
She kissed me made me lose my mind
One touch and I was paralyzed for days -
I completely succumbed to her will
She stole the life from my eyes right in front of me,
And I apologized to her while she ruined me
She doused me in gasoline, set me aflame -
She sat there, warming her hands by my inferno
I may be a walking corpse, but I still love her -
I will never regret letting her destroy me,
Because no one could have created a ghost any more beautifully.
