Moments That Leave Scars
That moment when you feel the disaster coming.
When your eyes swell with tears,
 When your face puffs
 Your face turns red
And your eyes become two times larger than normal.
That moment when memories drift into your mind,
When the gates of hell open
When walking on glass sounds sweeter than ever,
Your heart sinks down past the floor
And you feel as if you've been hit by a full garbage truck.
That moment when the pain is your chest is unbearable,
When you feel the sobs begging to be set free
When your knees become too weak to stand
 Your voice is lost
And you feel your heart shrivel and shrink
The moment when memories destroy the happiest thoughts you could think.
