every morning, i swear
March 9, 2015
the sky is grey
and blue
and loud
pitter patter of rain
on the sidewalk
the front lawn
my hair
really
i've already washed it today

I agree with @BreeZephyr it's very simple but so relatable. The ending was funny, I admit I chuckled a bit. That personification of the sky was so true!... "the sky is grey and blue and loud"... :)

Ha, ha, yeah, rain tends to be a nuisance for me; my hair is very thick and curly and likes to shrink up and tangle when wet. So yeah, I can relate. Your poem made me laugh, and I loved the simplistic nature of it. Nice work!
I suppose a rather petty thing to be annoyed at, but let's all celebrate our feelings, no matter how ridiculous they may seem.
Oh, and it rains here a lot, so let's celebrate weather, too.
