Everyday
Everyday
(an ode to a spider)
I hate when people try to kill me
I just stay in one place and people freak out
When they try to swat at me, of course I will jump down
I don’t mean to jump on you
I don’t have very good eyesight during the day
So please don’t hate me
I try to get all the moths and the nasty gnats out of your house
I try to make myself at home around your house in time so you won’t see me
But just because I have eight legs doesn't mean I’m fast enough to hit every corner in your house
I like the humans that don’t try to kill me
When they see me they don’t get scared
Rather they appreciate me
And they put me on a piece of paper and show me out the door
And I guess my visit is over
And my cycle starts again
Probably not with someone so kind

I personally don't like spiders and everytime I see them I always freakout. And I try to kill them because I don't need spiders in my house. I can live just fine, with gnats and moths in my house.
