the mr.
my fingers grazed your jet black hair
shorn straight to the scalp
a military style hair cut
with a cute cowlick
evening out your temple
your freckles stood out
constellations on your flushed cheeks
I was ready
as your hands locked around my waist
and pulled me close
upside down kisses
you tilted my chin toward your mouth
and devoured me hungrily
your stubble tickled my jawline
i love you the words were delivered
with a fierce intensity
that had never been so easy
until now
to say.
amongst the white sands
and the frolicking waves
hitting the shoreline
the gulls screeching in the distance
you hours later
drowsily leaning your head against my thigh
at the ocean
on a lazy, cool day in May
it never felt so right
to say I love you back

Speaks for itself. LOL, I just wanted to say I generally make it a policy, a rule, to not write about my boyfriends. My last relationship didn't work out so well, but I am always fascinated by my boyfriend of five months, who is a really amazing guy and whom I love very much. So yup, I wrote about him.
