Looking out my window
I see brown giants
With Green hair.
Winds blow their lengths to and fro and back and forth
Round and round and again they go-
Into the clouds and to the grey sidewalk
and black ground.

The Earth with many different blue waters-
White mountains, red lava and green nature-
Squawking birds and barking dogs-
Laughing humans- and swinging monkeys.

And here I am glaring from my bedroom longing to be a part of this daily rotation but

How would I turn

How would I rotate

What would I do

What would I contribute?

This world is.... this vision is.... gorgeous and ardent without me- so when I die I won't leave my beloveds in an ugly place-
just with ugly people. But they will also be among beauty- because they will have each other.

Oh, those brown giants call my name from afar and say

"Gaze and wonder- I do not stumble- I am a bundle of all that you juggle- love, growth, consistency, need, heights, goals, wishes, home, inner, value, benevolence, altruism and sacrifice."

The author's comments:

I was inspired by Evelyn Ryan- how her poems would be so easily readable but contain powerful punches of truth.

In this I want you to think about how you juggle what the tree is a bundle of- and compare how you come in contact with those things- and how a tree does.

For Ex. Both humans and tree are sacrificed for paper- trees are cut down for lined paper- and so many people will break down a person's reputation for a quick buck.
