As He Walks Away

As the waves shift,
My body sinks.
Going nowhere,
But down.
Falling.
Casted away.
Lost in known territory. .
A place I've seen,
But how darkness surrounds me.
Deep darkness,
Darker then the darkest known.
Change the current,
Catch me,
Hold me,
Don't leave me.
I say,
But he has reached the docks,
Forgotten about me,
Allowing me to drown,
As he walks away.
I shall not awaken this time,
It isn't a nightmare.
Not anymore.
This sleepless night,
Going nowhere,
Finding nothing in life,
Is infinite,
As you walk away.
