"Can You See Her?"
Though her age is still quite young, she sees things like a wise elder.
Those whose eyes that don't know her see her as a young, ignorant child.
Those whose eyes that do know her see her as a wise, beautiful person.
At first glance, she doesn't seem like much, but in time proves that looks are deceiving.
Her face is hollow, the perfect poker face.
Her eyes are dull, like a grey day in March.
She shows no emotion, nor fighting spirit.
You would think she's nothing more than a lost soul, walking around without care.
Look deep beyond the illusion and see the purity inside her glowing heart.
Her heart is full of kindness, love, and strength.
A beauty inside where it counts the most.
An angel that appears as an ugly duckling to the blind, but a beautiful swan to those who can truely see.
