My life consists of a single question
To which I am never destined
To find the answer to this single word
All my solutions are slightly blurred
This perplexity comes in many forms
And they come at me in swarms
Attacking and damaging and taking away
Any possible solutions I might be planning to say
To questions like, oh I don't know
Why do I love you so
Why do I feel so alone
Why does that feeling resonate in every one of my bones
Why does love have to be so hard
Why does it have to be such a risky card
Why does life take you down
Why does it have to approach without making a sound
Why do people stare at me
Why don't they try and get to know the me they cannot see
Why do I even try
