Stranded
Alone in a room, I can almost hear the whispers of souls passed on
The outside world shapes the mask, the inside world is covered
The dark holds what is true, the light is a beautiful lie
Nobody can see in the dark, though, they can only see the light
  My light is not true
My dark is who I am
People say the dark holds the monsters
People say the light holds what is safe
But maybe the monsters are not always bad
Maybe the safe places are traps
  But you will never know
Your sight is stranded in the light
But mine was left in the dark
