Once Again One
Eyes meet
From across the sea
That no longer looks so
Daunting…
Possibility
Slowly creeps into their hearts
An idea occurs
They are ready
To raise that flag
To swallow their pride
And the sea is no longer hostile
In fact,
It’s full of chance-
Reunion
They embrace
A family
Once again one

This poem stems from a hope that someday, my family members will be able to see past their differences and get along.
