Go ahead, judge me. Just remember to be perfect the rest of your life.

I am the fading grafitti paint that drips solemly

Down the rough brick structures

I have stood for centuries

I have seen lives come and pass

Have heard the laughter of an innocent child

Morph into the screaming of a tormented woman

Tears streaming down her cheeks

Wallowing in pity, wishing for days of the past

I have seen men kill each other

I have seen children kill themselves

My old, cynical eyes have seen light

Consumed by darkness

And darkness

Overcome by light

But my jadedness will only allow me to see one thing

Pain

Born from hate

Born from suffering

Born from Pain

Born from the hate of another

I am the Watcher

I am the one who sees this cycle

Until one day this world will turn to dust

And freedom awaits us
