The way I’ve been feeling lately
Kinda down on my hope
Goes without saying that my motivation as at an all time low
I have been thinking of life
And how bleak the future looks for me
I don’t have it figured out
Although you tell me that isn’t important right now
But I feel like I’m walking without any sense of direction
One foot in front of the other
They encourage me to keep going
But don’t tell me what the end looks like
Feels like I’m walking in circles
“It doesn’t matter”, you say
running won’t help
Music isn’t the same escape
Tell me have I changed that much?
I know I’m not the brightest
Nor the most applied
but doesn’t what I'm feeling count for something?
I’m just seeking attention
