Tell me,
Does the sky keep the rainbows to itself?
Do flowers hold back their scent from others to smell?
Do birds hush their singing so no one can enjoy it?
Do the stars stop shining when someone looks up?
Does the sun keep its warmth for its own?
I need not give you an answer,
For life filled with love will never be selfish.
Why then do we insist on being filled with greed
And consuming beauty before it can be shared?
I need not give you an answer.
