Stacking Stones High
2560 BC.
100,000 slaves work as one.
Proposed as a chamber for Pharaoh Khufu.
On foot, slaves venture into the vast land of Egypt.
Dragging stone through the scorching sun and smooth sand,
Blistering burns, fatigued muscles, growling stomachs, still the slaves drag on.
With sheer strength, and dirt-caked hands, they continue to conquer new heights.
Beads of sweat drip down...down...down...absorbed into the ancient stones, turning to history.
Grueling days come with a growing mentality, goals will be achieved when the mind is set to it.
Five more stacks to go: determination, dedication and drive crucial for the slaves to complete it,
20 years later, with 2.3 million stones: soaring high, solid and successful stands The Great Pyramid.
