Waters Of Time
Time flows like the ocean across the sands of life
Washing away all the pain and all the strife
War, love, peace, and hate
Would all quickly end with no debate
For as time washes away all of the lives
We all part and say our final goodbyes
And the world sits silent, waiting in awe
As a brand new god lays down a brand new law
And finally it makes new life
Father, son, daughter, and wife
Once again life doth repeat
Until the water of time no longer retreat

I am often inspired by the idea of an end day, but in my opinion that isn't all bad. As one empire falls another rises, it's history in a nutshell. In this poem I try to show that a little bit, and I hope people see that the end is just a new beginning.
