They say to welcome someone with open arms
yet i prefer closed ones
not just any closed arms
your closed arms
closed around my body
pulling me close at night and nestling me even closer
so close that I inhale your breath
while I exhale my love
closer to feel the prickles of your stuble
caress my forehead
inching so close
that I can feel the warmth
of your blood radiating from your body
our bodies interlocking
your arms holding me tight
arms
your arms
are now holding her tight
and my arms
miss you every night.
