Future
I have been told several times,
“Look to the future.”
But, why look farther?
Why not live in the present?
Aren’t we supposed to live in the moment?
Living while we are young.
Not thinking about growing old.
Do we really want to grow up?
Do we really want to look back and regret this?
You are free while young.
No worries in the world.
Nothing to what we will be doing when we grow up.
Taxes, mortgage, insurance.
All things I hear adults complaining about.
They want to be young again.
So why are we rushing?
Live in the moment.
Don’t rush your life.
