Saran Wrap
Beware of the saran wrap
Plastered on your face
Because your eyes deceive you.
They claim all is clear.
But in reality, you can’t fathom
The danger forthcoming.
I scream, eager to save you,
But the plastic creates a barrier over your ears,
Muffling my desperate cries.
Your eyes shoot open
As you realize you’re suffocating.
You claw at your face
But your power is already fading.
Seeing the world
Through a pair of fool’s eyes.
Finding the wrong in others
But never looking at your own reflection.
Only then could you have noticed
The trap you rolled yourself.
In cold-blood were you murdered
By your own evil unseen.
