simple. --
Three letters,
One syllable,
One word,
Try.
It is so simple,
Yet I've been avoiding it for fifteen years.
But when I look at my mother and father,
Sitting side by side on our lumpy, old brown couch,
Their bodies work down by age and fatigue,
Stress and distress tearing out their hair,
Unhappiness and remorse plaguing their minds,
Hope glimmering in her eyes like it's something in the distance,
Willingness to start over in his,
I try.
