Voice of the Wind
Everything has a voice be it a moan or a wail,
They have their own voices to tell their own tales.
The wind has a voice of its own
If you listen closely, you can hear him moan
But why does he moan you may ask
To tell you the tale is no easy task
Back to the beginning of time when everything was right,
The wind saw a sight to his delight
The world he saw, was good and gay.
The creatures of the earth sought only to play
But this time of peace was not to stay
The children of dust, their hearts turned by greed,
Performed a most terrible deed.
They sought to end one another,
Be it a friend or a brother.
The wind saw to his horror
That man had made a terrible error
He moaned for the people who died back then
He moans to this day for he fears it will happen again

I was sitting in my room on a windy day, and I wondered why the wind moaned
