Examined the lipstick stains
On the filter of my cigarette.
I remember
How the idea of him
Had seduced me.
How
He forced me
To kiss him (etc.)
I remember how
He told me the drink
He fixed me would taste oddly sweet.
I looked down and examined
The chips in the fingernail polish
On my index finger and thumb.
I looked down,
Calculated how much
I would have to angle my cigarette
To burn my palm.
