The choices you make
You can make your own choices,
You can start on a dark path or one of light.
But the path you're born on,
does not determine who you are.
You can choose your path, darkness or light.
Because you can choose your friends,
you can choose your family.
And if they won't have you,
Then others will accept you.
But you don't have to do what others want
Because you control yourself,
So it's up to you to help yourself.
It doesn't matter where you come from,
Or who you were.
It's what you do and what you can do,
That should determine who you are
Not a stereotype or prejudice,
But your own ambition's to strive for greater heights
So climb and climb go as high as you can.
And higher still push on to greater heights,
You may crash and fall as you climb.
But you will not grow until you continue to climb.
So it is upto you its your choice,
will you climb so high and take a risk?
Or will you stay where you are,
And not move forward.
