I’m just a girl.

I cry, i laugh, i scream.

No I'm not always the strongest person;

No i can’t always think rationally;
No I’m not good at controlling my emotions.

But it’s okay

Because that’s just who i am.

Not all girls

Cry; laugh; scream.

Some girls are strong.

And sometimes I’m strong too.

But sometimes I’m weak.

And broken.

Sometimes i don’t have everything figured out.

But really, who does.

In the end, I’ll make it through.

I’ll survive because I was built to survive.

I was built to take the worst of it and still come out

On top.

I can do it.

I make mistakes because I’m only human

But we all do.

I’m brave and I will survive.

Because I’m a girl.

Yes you can hurt me.

But I’ll get back up.

Because I’m strong.

Because I’m not just any girl.

I’m me.
