"We are always feeling every emotion, but only a few are screaming."

this is a story,
of the girl with the diamond rings,
a nice house to go with her fix of million dollar jewelry,
she kept a lock on her heart,
she had been hurt before,
this girl has the scars to prove it too,
she smiles her fame away,
the world knows her by her diamond earrings and pearls,
she has all that money,
how could she possibly not be happy?
the common folk says this as they gossip around the village,
the lady covered in gold gets all the talk in this land of poor,
people bow down to her,
she is hated,
but she is loved,
she gets to eat all the white rice her body can take,
the regulars say,
well what they do not know about the lady in gold is that she starves herself everyday,
without a pretty figure,
no one would listen to anything she had to say,
a role as a women is to look the part,
many of the women in the village are rich,
but only a few weigh less than 100 pounds,
she must be shy,
let the men speak their mind,
and follow behind like a puppy.
she is invisible,
the only reason anyone values her,
is because the lady in gold is just so pretty.
these stereotypes are not right,
but this is how we teach generations up right,
I am a girl,
and this is what I see around this world.
