The grass under my feet,
The sun on my cheeks,
The sound of the flowing Creek

Are all of the things I love about spring.
I just want to swing
From branches of trees
And listen to birds sing

Songs of joy
And toy
Around and be a little boy

Again, without worries
Or having to hurry
Off to work or other responsibilities.
