Death
I am what every man fears
In his mind and in his heart,
I can reduce the strongest to tears
Some go quietly and some put up a fight,
But in the end Death always snuffs out a light
Death is the end of the road,
But it doesn't have to be,
Or so I am told
There's a light at the end of this tunnel for you and me,
Don't avoid it, run towards it, the reward is great
If you only open your eyes and see
That light, shining so bright,
Is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
The light of God will never grow dim,
Man's mortal fear will never win
God's love saves us, so holy and pure,
For what conquers Death better than Love?
It's the only cure
His Love endures forever and will last until the end of time.
He rebukes Death and says
"No. You've reached the end of your line."
Death is not the end, it's just the beginning.
So why hurt yourself more and continue sinning?
Our story goes beyond what we know,
this life is just the opening act of the bigger show.
