People look down at me
And bring me low with their words
The world throws everything it has at me
My heart gets broken over and over again
Each time by a different person

 

But through it all,
The suffering, the pain, the rejection,
I smile
I may breakdown and cry
But I still smile

 

Eventually I will lose it
It's only a matter of time
Before I snap

 

                                   But for now,
                                      I smile
