a blanket
volcanoes wore hats of snow
and it reminded me of the security your cold hands formerly provided
I knew your frigged touch would freeze my sense of what I once was
an unpredictable mountain filled with boiling fear ready to burn all who caused me to ignite
come spring the snow will melt
and I will come even closer to an inevitable eruption
