Samson
Regress to a time,
Where dark features,
With silly smiles
And cheeky laughs were the center of my universe,
Delicately dancing along in my mind as I sit alone in my new age,
Piano keys tapping every softness from my 17-year-old heart,
But snap back,
A new life,
A new face,
A new name.
You only live in that song,
In that distant memory all too close to my heart,
Who were we when we used to obey?
Who were we before we began to create?
Who were we before we knew?
Before we grew?
I wish I could know us now.

No one forgets their high shool sweehearts. Even as you get older, you wonder what it would have been today.
