how can my
pride and joy
turn
into my worst enemy

this
is supposed to be
effortless. my mind disagrees

seconds pass
minutes
then hours

nothing.

only
one
bark
from the dog
the
thump
thump
thump
of the washing machine
little things
it’s impossible to have a

single thought

not a thing comes out but
blank pages

self esteem
at an all time

low.

This poem is the result of my own messing around because I could not write a poem. I couldn't think of a topic to write about, so I wrote about writer's block.
