How could I
stand to feel like this?
I wake,
with the taste of your name
on my lips,
and conjure you in the realms of my sleep.
I've fallen so far,
for you
for nothing
Another has built her golden temples
enveloping your heart,
in her endless
Indian summers.
You've slipped,
through the cracks in my fingers,
as shifting as the red sands
on the shores
of her open gates.
