The Elephant Mouse

March 28, 2013

There was once a mouse,
The beasts did not acknowledge his existence,
All the creatures would destroy him in a battle,
Despite his masses and masses of resistance.

One day, when the mouse was ashore,in dear denial,
He saw his claws morph into feet,
His puny snout transform into a trunk,
Oh, what a remarkable feat!

So when the mouse trod upon the animals again,
They this time feared, not shooed,
It seems their underestimation cost them their humility,
As they walked out the jungle fully nude!

I was underestimated in my Grade Exams, and when I got higher than people thought, they were the embarrassed ones.
