I build a house
before I decide
what to put inside.
A brand new house...
meant to seem
like one from a dream.

And echoes all through the halls
through the walls
call me back to you.

I've built a house
and you're not too content
with the time that I've spent
fixing the holes
where the rain gets in.

There's a Beatles reference at the end of this poem. I don't want to share too much about what this means to me though, I'd rather the reader try and figure it out or derive their own meaning.
