I Love You
The strongest word out there is love
And baby I think it’s what we’ve become
After promising myself I wouldn’t again go that far
I realized I can’t hide, and you are who you are
Love is scary and love is blind
And I’m already losing my damn mind
I wanted to say it back, its what I feel
But when you said it, it seemed too good to be real
Of all the dreams that I’ve dreamt
And all the secrets I’ve kept
My mind is running empty now
And my head is stuck in the clouds
I know at any second I could crash to the ground
Feeling nothing at all except failure bound
But then I see you standing there
And I have no more reason to be scared
I put my hand in yours
And suddenly I don’t feel as if I’m going to fall to the floor
You saved me from what I always thought I’d become
Which would be less significant then everyone
Its not that I don’t feel it to, word choice is what I lacked
The next time you say you love me; I swear I will say it back.
