Last Goodbye
You think you know it all
Just expecting me to catch you when you fall
You keep telling the same lies
We won’t agree, we lead different lives
You say you will change for the better
I’m sorry, I won’t wait forever
I wish you would put your jealousy aside
I’ve moved on, and you can’t say I didn’t try
You tell me I’m never there for you
You’re you needy and I can’t always tell you what to do
You refuse to let the little things go
And now I just have to let you know
I’m sick of all the misconceptions
I’m sick of having to pretend
Happiness and friendship should just be there
You can’t force it and I know you don’t care
So before you start to scream and cry
I’m walking away, this is our last goodbye
