Fate of the Nobles
Sovereigns come and fall
Fight for the throne till demise
For power for money for corruptible fame
They to this obligation rise
And who among them is remembered?
Whose name echoes through many an age?
Yet they all raise their heads in splendor
As if innumerable are their days
But no, their might cannot save them
They still after death, are forgotten
Except perhaps whispered in scroll of old
Eyed by professors in libraries a’ rotten
No matter the power they wielded
They face the same fate as me
To die and from this world be gone forever
Like waves gone out to sea
