Afraid Of What We Have
Rebellion is not unlike a blind sheep
All the promises it failed to keep
Ignoring those who bleed
Another shade of greed
As innocence begins to weep
Out there on the battlefield
The violence, it shall not yield
When unavoidable, impending death
Seems more likely with every coming breath
Just to be the one who once kneeled
Dear God, please guided the lost lamb
Because the shepards just don't give a damn
I bless your poor soul
as you pay the final toll
"I'm afraid we have some bad news, Ma'am."
