DIRTY MESS
You’re a wet rag that I keep wringing and wringout out, causing my hands to ache and become sore.
But still, you're dripping dirty water on the floor.
And I can't clean it up.
You planted a bad seed in my heart.
And I can try and try to dig you up
but you rooted yourself so deep,
so intertwined into my veins.
You’ve become a tainted, poisonous flower ready to sprout.
Can't you see?
You're rotting me from the inside out.
