I'm constantly letting you down

You say hush, and I don't make a sound

I scream into layered white noise

But all of your worries, you don't hear my voice

Been too long since I said yes

I undress my sorrows, they stay in my head

I'm so sick and tired of the loneliness

One day, if I fall asleep, will I be missed?

I lay with the angles, yet I lie with their horns

My kindness, superficial, is begging to be born

My conscience tells me secrets, and I ignore the signs

If I let go of the surface, would you even cry?

My choices stay stuck in the clouds

You say stop, but my lungs are too loud

Words drop with language so sick:

"Her body is broken" "His mind clogs too thick"

I've lost the emotion I own

I untie the knots, the pain won't leave its home

I'm so sick and tired of the loneliness

One day, if I fall asleep, will I be missed?

I lay with the angles, yet I lie with their horns

My kindness, superficial, is begging to be born

My conscience tells me secrets, and I ignore the signs

If I let go of the surface, would you even cry?
