You found me when I needed someone
To help me get through this pain
You gave me the strength I needed
To help feel like myself again

I always thought you were different
And now I know really you care
Because when I needed you
You were there

I can see a halo over you
Because of everything you do
You make me feel alive
And that is why I’m thanking you
For saving my life

You saw me when I felt invisible
And was trying to be a ghost
Then you showed me that love
Was what I really needed the most

I am giving you everything I have
Because you saved me from the night
When I thought it would be the last time
I would see the light

I can see a halo over you
Because of everything you do
You make me feel alive
And that is why I’m thanking you
For saving my life

I am forever in your in your debt
Because I will never forget
That beautiful day
When my pain went away

You found me when I needed someone
To help me get through this pain

I can see a halo over you
Because of everything you do
You make me feel alive
And that is why I’m thanking you
For saving my life

Thank you
For saving my life
Thank you
For making things all right

You made me see
Because you saved me

When i orginally wrote this, my mom thought it was about suicide and how someone saved them from ending their life. I rewrote the third verse and this is the second edition. hope you like it!

I was barely a teen when I sunk in and out of depression. Nobody realised and I was gradually getting worse. One day when I was meeting up with a few people and made a new friend. This friend unknowingly brought me back from the dark and made me see what life was really about. This song (to me) refers to this event in my life. You have a lot of talent and I can totally see it in this piece of work.
