A Perfectly Lovely, Hateful Paradise
Don't you wish we were in a paradise?
Where there was no war, famine, or disease
No more machines
Completely clean
No more scary dreams
No more hairy fiends
No more scared of the dark
If we stopped the fight
If we saw the light
Maybe then we could be
More than petty
And maybe
If we took more naps
Let down all our traps
Sang in the shower like this
And gave away a kiss
Then maybe we can be
More than crappy
We can be happy
So next time you're a-scared
So very unprepared
Read this poem without a care
And maybe then we could be
A little less hateful
A little more grateful
Oh God please...
